What does waiting to accept invitation on Skype mean?
When you receive a Skype call, you may see a notification that says “Waiting to accept invitation.” This means that the person calling you is still waiting for you to answer the call.
If you’re not available to answer the call, the caller will eventually see a message that says you’re unavailable. They can then choose to leave a voicemail or send a text message.
If you’re available to answer the call, you can do so by tapping the green “answer” button. You can also choose to decline the call by tapping the red “decline” button.
If you’re not sure whether or not you want to answer the call, you can tap the “…” button and choose to “snooze” the call. This will send the call to your voicemail so you can listen to it later.
If you’re still seeing the “Waiting to accept invitation” notification after you’ve answered the call, it may mean that the person on the other end hasn’t accepted your call yet. You can try tapping the “…” button and then “resend invitation.”
